due to既可以接动词原形也可以接名词性结构，但含义不同

be due to do 意为预计、预定做...。如

I'm due to fly to Shenzhen next week. 我预定下周飞赴深圳。

due to sth 相当于介词短语，意为由于、因为，与because of同义，但due to更正式。

I can not go to Shenzhen due to my bad cold. 我因为重感冒无法去深圳。
