定冠词的基本用法：
①特指可用于各类名词，包括物质名词、抽象名词及专有名词。

②与可数名词单数及某些形容词、分词连用，表示类别。

③用于表示民族、阶级、党派的名词前。如：

④表示世界上独一无二的事物，名词前用定冠词。

抽象名词前面加the吗
抽象名词就是不可数名词，不可数名词前面不能加a，an，但根据需要可加the冠词：
Life is hard.
The life that I'm living is hard。
