when后面为什么加do

when引导的是特殊疑问句。

特殊疑问句的结构是：

特殊疑问词（who what which when where why how等）+助动词或情态动词（do does did have had will can may must等 ）+主语+谓语动词原形+其他成分

例如：When do you want to visit the famous city?

人称和时态变化都体现在助动词上。

when后面为什么加do

因为when作疑问副词，动词要用第三人称单数，When后面必须接助动词do，因为主语是第三人称单数，所以do必须要用does 形式。
