spend和pay的区别：
1、spend的对象不仅可以是金钱，也可以是时间pay只能搭配金钱。2、两者搭配的介词不同：spend的用法：spend time(money) on sth或spend time(money) in doing sthpay的用法：pay money for sth或者pay for sth/sb
①spend
sb. spend some time/money (in) doing sth. 花费时间（或金钱）做某事，in可以省略。
如：I spent three hours (in) fixing the model car.
sb. spend some time/money on sth. 在某事（或物）上花费时间（或金钱）
如：He often spends two hours on his homework. 他经常花两个小时做作业。
Will you spend so much money on the coat? 你愿意花这么多钱买这件外套吗?
②pay
sb. pay some money for sth. 某人为某物付钱
如：I have to pay one hundred yuan for the meal. 我不得不为这顿饭付了一百块。
