（1）want 后加名词或代词
如：I want a mobile phone.(我想要一部手机)
I want them.(我想要它们)
（2）want to do sth
如：She wants to visit her grandparents.(她想去拜访她的祖父母)
（3）want sb to do sth想要某人去做某事
如：My mother wants me to drink milk every morning.(我妈妈想让我每天早上喝牛奶)
（4）want sb for sth为某事需要某人
如：We want three boys for the music show.(我们为音乐节需要三个男生
need， want， require后的非谓语动词：
当这三个动词表示“需要”时，其后接不定式和动名词均可，且意思基本相同，只是所用语态不同：接动名词时要用主动式表示被动含义，而接不定式时则要用被动形式表示被动含义。如：
1、 The machine wants repairing.
= The machine wants to be repaired.
这机器需要修理。
2、 These sentences need explaining.
=These sentences need to be explained.
这些句子需要加以解释。
3、 Lentils do not require soaking before cooking.
= Lentils do not require to be soaked before cooking.
小扁豆在烹饪前不必浸泡。
