但是有种情况：The dancer and singer is my Mum.此句谓语为单数。意思是这位既是舞蹈家（1个人2个身份）

但如果The dancer and the singer 为主语，谓语用复数。意思是舞蹈家和歌唱家（2个人2个身份）。

如果and连接的两个名词若构成一个整体事物或指同一个人时，谓语则用单数。

例如：

Fish and chipsisvery famous food in England.鱼和薯条在英国是一道名菜。

The singer and songwriter is dead.

这位歌手兼作曲家死了。

如果由and连接的两个或更多的主语之前有each， every， many a/an， no的时候，谓语用单数名词。

例如：

Every boy and girl in the class works very hard.班上的每个男孩和女孩都很努力。

Each minute and second is valuable to us.每分每秒对我们都是宝贵的。
