加介词in，例如：
1、The thing happened in an out-of-the-way village in Henan.这事发生在河南一个偏僻的农村。
2、This happened in the centre of operations.这事发生在演习的过程中。
3、Tell me what happened in your own words.用你自己的话告诉我出了什么事。
happened加什么介词
happen是不及物动词，后面加介词才能加宾语，加什么介词取决于需要表达什么意思。比如发生在上午，发生在三点钟，发生在校园外等，分别用it happened in the morning ，it happened at three o'clock， it happpenet outside the shool等。
但是如果表达某人发生某事，要用something happen to sb.这个用法，比如An accident happened to him yesterday.
