英语中颜色前介词of和in的区别

in 表状态

The  girl  in  red  is  mydaughter.

of表所属

如:

Welcome to our store. We have handbags of different shapes in different colours.

即表示“不同的形状”和“不同的颜色”，其前用介词 in 和 of 都可以，其细微区别是：用in，表示“以……的形式”用 of，表示“……的”。

但如果不是用于名词后定语，而是用作状语（表示方式），则只能用in。
