there is 后面的动词形式

There be后面有两种动词形式:

1、There be sb. / sth. doing 

在这个句型中，doing表示的动作是sb. /sth.本身的动作

例句:

There are many kites flying in the sky.天空上有许多风筝在飞。

There are many people working there.有许多人在那里工作。

2、There be sb. / sth. to do 

在这个句型中，to do表示的动作不是是sb. /sth.本身的动作

例句:

There are still many people for you to visit。

There are many places of interest to visit in China。

there is 后面的动词形式

there is 就近原则，例如There is a book. There are two books. 后面的单词加doing，例如 There is a baby crying outside.
