and与or的谓语动词

并列主语是指主语为and、or等并列词连接的名词作主语，其谓语的单复数要看情况而定

当【名词+and+名词】结构表示一种事物或一种概念时，谓语动词应用单数形式。

如::Fish and chips(炸鱼土豆片)（ is）a delicious dinner.

The poet and writer(诗人兼作家) （ is）my teacher.

Time and tide(岁月) wait / waits for no man.

or用法：连接两个或两个以上的单数名词作主语时，谓语动词要用单数 如果or连接的两个主语是两个不同数或不同人称的人称代词，则以第二个词为准来决定谓语动词的数或人称。 

例句： Don't rush at your work or you will spoil it. 不要匆忙地做你的工作，否则你会把它做坏的。

or用于否定句中连接并列成分，表示“和，与”之意。

例句：

There isn't any air or water on the moon.月球上既没有空气也没有水。

The baby is too young. He can't speak or walk.那婴儿太小，他不会说话，也不会走路。
