区别就是两者都是名词但意思是不一样的，具体的不同如下
canyon中文意思是n. （两边为峭壁、谷底通常有溪流的）峡谷

valley中文意思是n. 山谷流域溪谷

canyon和valley的区别
canyon和valley都有“峡谷”的意思，前者强调两边有悬崖峭壁，由河流流淌切割造成，后者强调山谷两侧地势比较平缓，谷底也有河流经过。
