没有pay ...on 这种用法
pay ... for ...意思是“花……做……”，主语是人可与spend ...on /doing 互换。
如：I paid ten yuan for the book last week.
=I spent ten yuan on the book last week .
=I spent ten yuan buying the book last week.
上周我花了10元钱买这本书。
拓展：
1、pay money to sb for sth. 付钱给某人做某事。
如：
I paid 10 yuan to the shop owner for that book.
=I paid the shop owner 10 yuan for that book.
我付给店主10元买那本书。
2、pay sb. 付钱给某人。
例: They pay us every month.
